+--------------+
Introduction
+--------------+

"The Prometheus Experiment" is a new DooM II megawad with 7 new levels; it contains new graphics, new musics, new sounds
and new monsters for an intense gameplay and nonstop action. It makes use of ZDooM's special features: 3D floors, scripts,
 and so on...

+--------------+
Installation
+--------------+

Just copy the file promex.wad in you zdoom directory and start with the command line:
 zdoom -iwad doom2 -file promex.wad

+--------------+
 Story
+--------------+

You are a space marine, sent with your squad to investigate the loss of contact with the Prometheus Outpost. The Prometheus
Outpost is a research center where UAC makes experiments on interdimensional travel. It is said that in this outpost has
been created a new gate based on a new technology.
When your transport lands, the all the squad exits except you and one of your comrades.

+--------------+
 Gameplay
+--------------+

"The Prometheus Experiment" has been created for single-player only; there are no multiplayer starts or deathmatch starts.
There are no projects to implement multiplayer game in this episode.
I had the idea to build a deathmatch-only episode using the Prometheus resources, but I worked a lot on the single-player
levels and never started the deathmatch ones.

+--------------+
 Monsters
+--------------+

In "The Prometheus Experiment" there is a new cool Boss, the ArchHenius, created by Travis Miller. It is an enhanced
Archivile with multiple attacks and a magic shield that deviates the shots.
There are also many rebel marines which bring the common DooM weapons. They are stronger than the usual scripted marine.

Technical Notes
+-----------------+

You have to play this map using the last ZDooM version. All maps were tested using version 2.1.6.345
I found that PromEx is fully compatible with GZDooM version 1.0.18.266 in both OpenGL and Software rendering.
