		    Description of "Alien 2 - The Revenge"

This level is the second episode of the series "Alien". (If you want to know
the story, read the alien2.txt file.)

You start from the teleport centre of your UAC station. Take the Shotgun, the
Backpack of Ammo and the Spatial Suit, then use the only active teleport. You
will arrive to the alien planet, where there are a Super Shotgun with its
ammo and some potion of health. Eliminate all troopers, before the oxygen of
the Spatial Suit finishes; then enter the room in front of you (the door on
the right is blocked). Eliminate the monsters. If you enter the right room,
you can't go on, because the door is locked. Open the left door. It's the
First Aid: kill all the monsters and activate the switch to open the locked
door (and the blocked door, outside). Go there: it's the Weapons Room. Take
all the weapon and the ammo, after you eliminated the monsters, and activate
the switch at the end of the room, to open the locked front doors, in the
entryway. Between the two doors (in the Weapon Room) there is a third room,
with the Green Armor and a Shotgun and 4 Shotgun Shells. Go to the room
opened and eliminate all troopers. You must take the Red Key to arrive to the
CyberDemon: the front door is locked with the Red Key, the door on the right
is locked with a switch; so, you must go left, to the Physics Lab. You must
pay attention to the traps and to the monsters. Activate the switch between
the two corridor, to take the lift to arrive to the Heating System. On the
right, there are a Stimpak and eight Shotgun Shells; on the left, the Heating
System continues as far as other rooms. Eliminate the Lost Soul and go down
to an old little physics laboratory: activate the switch to open the locked
door. Go back to the room with the Red Key on a platform and go to the opened
room, the Computer Lab. Go ahead to another room and open the door on the
same side you entered from. Come up to activate the switch to open the locked
front door. Eliminate the Mancubus and the Demons, then go ahead to another
room. Activate the switch on the left to open the door on the right wall.
Follow the path to find a switch that lets down the platform with the Red
Key. Come back, to take it and to open the door locked with the Red Key.
Eliminate the Cacodemon and open the left door; the right door is locked with
the Yellow Key, that you must find. Go ahead, paying attention to the hidden
Former Commando, that checks the Blue Key, protected with special columns,
that can be opened with the Yellow Key. Eliminate the Former Sergeant and go
upstairs, on the right. Activate the switch to open the door at the end of
the other stairs. Go there, to the Experiments Lab. Eliminate the monsters,
take the Rocket Launcher and open one of the two doors, to arrive in the same
corridor. There many doors: you must search for the room containing the
Yellow Key. A suggest: when you enter the room with the Yellow Key, the front
wall will opens and a Knight of Hell or a Baron (it depends on the skill
level chosen); so be careful! The other rooms are: a warehouse of radioactive
waste, a little lab containing the Blue Armor and a "Control Room". Once you
took the Yellow Key, go back to take the Blue Key and to open the door locked
with the Yellow Key. You will be in a corridor, checked by two Spectres.
Eliminate the two Spectres and open the other Yellow Door: you are in the
corridor that sorrounds the CyberDemon Location. In this corridor there are
four Revenants on guard. Eliminate all the Revenants. Don't go directly to
the CyberDemon Room. Go to the corridor on the left, to enter in the Ammo
Rooms: eliminate the Arachnotron and take all the ammo that you can find. In
the first room of this section, in front of the main door, there is an hidden
room with the BFG 9000 and the MegaSphere. But as you take the MegaSphere,
two Mancubus will appear. So you must be very careful. After you took all the
gettable ammo, go to the other side and open the door: there are two hidden
Former Sergeant, near the door, and an Arch-Vile. If you are very careful,
you will not suffer any damage and you will be able to take the Soul Sphere
and the Invulnerability. In case of damage, there are two Medikit. Then, you
can go to the CyberDemon Room. You must activate the "Blue" switch, to open
the columns that protected the lift with the CyberDemon and you must activate
the other switch, on the other side, to let down the lift with the CyberDemon
that is turned away. Now, you must defeat the CyberDemon and, as you defeat
him, you must activate the new switch. Now, enter the last room left and use
the teleport to come back home.
