Title                   : The Savage Series
Filename                : Savage.wad
Author                  : Creature (Dan Tyrrell)
Email Address           : the-creature@worldnet.att.net
Misc. Author Info : Spent a great deal of time making the Unofficial
			  DOOM Rocket Launcher FAQ, check it out at:
			  ftp.cdrom.com/pub/idgames/docs/faqs/rocket.zip,
			  it is worth the quick download time.

Description : A series of 8 deathmatch levels, they provide very
			  quick, intense, deathmatch action.
			  There are NO CHEAP plasma guns in any of the eight
			  levels, only Super Shotguns, Chainguns and of course
			  Rocket Launchers. There are also BFGs in all of the
			  levels, except for level 1. I think that the BFG is
			  an awesome weapon, but too cheap SOMETIMES because
			  some levels are abundant with them.

The Story Line: You have killed all the remaining aliens and you
			  have saved mankind. You still have the urge to kill
			  however, so you build a bunch of buildings made for
			  the sole purpose of killing your friends, you kill
			  them, but then by pushing their respawn buttons on
			  their you know what's, they magically come back to
			  life. Now, how can you say there is no plot behind
			  the deathmatch part of DOOM?

Additional Credits to : Ben Morris for making DCK,

* Play Information *

Episode and Level #     : Levels 1-8 (DOOM2)
Single Player : Yes, (to look around but these are DM wads)
Cooperative 2-4 Player : No , I could say something dumb here, but you
			  already know that I am dumb after reading the
			  Rocket Launcher Faq (You all read it RIGHT??)
			  -I'm sure you did-
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes, Deathmatch 1.0 (The way it should be)
			  Levels 1, 3, 5,& 7 are playable Altdeath, but only
			  with 2 players.
Difficulty Settings : Just for fun, you can play skill level 1 & 2 on
			  all the levels and have rocket fragfests. On these
			  two skill levels there are only Berserks and
			  Rocket Launchers. If you are bored enough to do
			  this (surpisingly, it is fun) you should play
			  alt-death. I have never played these wads with
			  Four Players, so I don't know how well it would go
			  with four people. I THINK that with four people
			  you should play Old-Deathmatch because you probably
			  will not run out of ammo because you will die soon
			  enough. If you aren't bored, play Skill 5
			  old deathmatch.
New Sounds : No, they usually suck anyway.
New Graphics : Yes, just play the levels, you'll see!!
New Music : Yes, plenty (Lot's of Metallica) -see below-
Demos Replaced          : 3,

Completely Useless : Average Frags per Minute in a 2 player game,
Statistics                Nightmare,  is !! 11.2 !! frags!!!
			  Yes, this statistic is calculated! It is not made
			  up!

* Construction *
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Base                    : New level from scratch
Build time              : Way too much, for all 8 levels, about 3 millenia.
			  It would have been shorter had I known what the hell
			  I was doing.
Editor(s) used          : DCK, Midi2mus, Endoomer, NWT, Adobe Photoshop 3.0.4;
			  Midisoft recording Session (I ran out of midi's so
			  I had to arrange Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams
			  myself.)
Known Bugs              : Absolutely NOT.  Well Maybe.  Tell me if you find
			  any.
			   The Levels
			   ~~~~~~~~~~

*****The Title Music You Will Hear Is O Fortuna from Carmina Burana********

	       (Keep in Mind 11.2 Frags Per Minute)
	    -This is even greater in the first 4 Levels-

Level 1 - Seek and Destroy - NOT a hunt wad (don't be fooled by the name)
	  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   named after the music: Seek and Destroy by
			     Metallica.  No BFG in this level.
Level 2 - For Whom The Death Tolls - Once again, named after the music:
	  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica.
				     In 2 player battles, the BFG is fairly
				     difficult to get. In 3 and 4 players,
				     the BFG will score you many frags.

Level 3 - Pestilence - Named by Higuy, music: Master of Puppets by Metallica.
	  ~~~~~~~~~~   My favorite level.  Don't get trapped in the BFG pit.
Level 4 - Death - No better name, simply Death.  Higuy's favorite level.
	  ~~~~~   Music: Creeping Death by Metallica (again!).

Level 5 - ADL - ADL stands for A Dumb Level, but is in fact just the opposite
	  ~~~   Music: Marylin Manson's version of Sweet Dreams,  Arranged by
		       Me (The Creature aka Dan Tyrrell aka Idiot)
Level 6 - Degeneration - Just a cool word. Music: Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter.
	  ~~~~~~~~~~~~   (Had to do a little tweaking with it because the soft
			 portions of the song were way too long.

	     Storyline Screen:  X-Files Theme.
	     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Level 7 - Dead Stupid - My second favorite wad.  The only wad made with DeeP.
	  ~~~~~~~~~~~   Tends to slow down with 2 players.
			Music: Enter Sandman by Metallica

Level 8 - Ode To Death - A fun wad, very fast paced. Music: Holier Than Thou
	  ~~~~~~~~~~~~   by Metallica.
DEMOS
Demo1 - Creature vs. Higuy   vs. uNtItLeD
	(Brown)     (Green)      (Indigo)
	Map 3, Skill 5, Old Deathmatch
	Brown's viewpoint
Demo2 - same players
	Map 4, Skill 5, Old Deathmatch
	Green's viewpoint
Demo3 - same players
	Map 2, Skill 2, Altdeath
	Brown's viewpoint
After watching the demos, you will see that creature and uNtItLeD are really
	just a diversion to higuy.
