Title : Up 'n Down
Filename : UPNDOWN.WAD
Release date : May 7. 1995 [Note by the uploader: That is
written in the textfile. The Timestamps have been
changed, because this was taken from the Level-CD
'Level-ROM' by E.D.V. publishing. That CD
distributed the files outside of the original
zips, published at Compuserve, and they have now
all the same Timestamp from the day of burning
                          the cd.]

Misc. Author Info : Major Wad Editor (yeah, right...), working on his
                          50th wad (or so)
-- terribly into texture alignment and
playability of the level. Not into four hundred
Cyber Demons in one room. Currently working on
the Death for 2 Series of Death Matches.

Description : This DOOM II pwad was designed specifically with
2-player Deathmatch 2.0 in mind and continues
with the Death for 2 Series. I got the idea from
one of the million or so wads I've played
recently, but forget which one. Basically,
you've got a room that goes up and down, hence
                          the clever title.

Additional Credits to : Carolyn, Marty, the usual cast of characters.
David L. Davis (no E-mail address) and his
Amok10.wad for the rocket, plasma and fireball
sounds and Robert Wong (Foxer@america.com) and
Foxer.wad for the balance of the sounds.

Misc. Verbage : I threw in a few monsters--Cacodemons and imps
--only because I like the cool sound of their
fireballs (Thanks David). Because of the moving
floor, rockets and plasma blasts are a bit hard
to control--the shotgun and chaingun appear to be
immune to this effect and are quite useful.
The switches move the floor as a fast elevator
and the effect is more pronounced--be careful as
your own rockets can cause damage to you.

* Where to get the file that this text file describes *
[Tis is, what the author says in the original textfile:]
If you are reading this, you have it already. However, I only have the
ability to post to CompuServe, so I'm sure that's where it was grabbed
from. Of course, maybe somebody else dropped it on the Internet or
published it on CD-ROM...
[Note by the uploader: The author's guess was correct: I got this from the
Level-CD 'Level-ROM' by E.D.V. publishing. And now you can get it from the
