Substitutions? : YES. MAP08 with MAP09, MAP23, and MAP29

System used : Gateway 2000 P5-100, 16MB RAM
                           Gateway 2000 AnyKey keyboard.

Controls used : keyboard only, default configuration

Free interpretation : Finish entire game on UV without dying.

Comments : All the lmps are on UV. This is allowed
                          by DHT amendment 960723. I replaced MAP08
                          with MAPs from harder sets.

MAP26: Although this level is instant carnage, the start is peaceful
enough to allow me to do the authentication dance. I do the
dance then kill myself before starting the timed run that
        counts. Otherwise, nothing special.

MAP02: Now here's a hard one. I had trouble either staying alive
or reaching the exit under par. Many former humans annoyingly
get in the way, and the sargeants are more than happy to stop
you cold. No authentication dance for this lmp.

Substitution Lmps:
MAP09: This is a fun level. Since this level is a peaceful start
turned instant carnage the moment I press the fire button,
(I have fists in my authentication dance.) and the start is
not peaceful enough to allow dancing once monsters start
moving, no authentication dance is in the lmp. I grabbed
the berserk then it is punch and run.

MAP23: Another fun level. The hard part is getting past the demons
quickly. Once I got the megasphere and the rocket launcher,
I blazed through without any problems.

MAP29: This one is VERY hard, even harder than MAP02. The plasma
gun is a must! There are so many things that can go wrong
on the level; such as getting shot to pieces by heavy weapon
dudes or cacodemons, running out of cell ammo, or falling
off a ledge that kills your chance of finishing the level
        under par.

Free interpretation:
ALL : I finish the entire game on UV without dying, all caught on
one huge lmp. The size of the lmp is over 1.45 Mb, and the
entire show lasts almost three hours. I made no goals on any
of the levels other than to survive (because one fatal mistake
would render void any past accomplishments). The authentication
dance is done at the beginning of the lmp.

Author info : I am 25 years old now. I started playing
DOOM when I tried shareware DOOM in July
1995. Then I got DOOM II in September 1995.
I have played DOOM more than any other game.

I have the following four DHT titles:
                            DOOM 2 Master
                            DOOM 2 Speedy Gonzales
                            DOOM 2 Grand Master
                            DOOM 2 Tyson

I must thank Frank Stajano for hosting the
DHT. It gives single players who are not
blessed with fragmates the chance show off
their best. Additional credits go to all
other DHT title holders, especially those
with epic titles. Finally, I thank ID for
creating the best games, Doom & Quake, of
                          all time.
