I created the models in this folder with GtkRadiant
and compiled them with Q3Map2, using the build commands

"\path\to\q3map2.x86" -bsp -meta -patchmeta -subdivisions N -game quake3 "\path\to\model.map"
"\path\to\q3map2.x86" -convert ase -game quake3 "\path\to\model.bsp"

This method of creating ase models with GtkRadiant is described

The -subdivisions values I used for the individual model:
