[1] SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

Unlike most maps made for the game, this map, like many other newer
REoL TOUGH maps, require a faster processor for optimum performance.
These are the requirements for various scnerios:

     640x480, no slowdown:
     -----------------------
     AMD 600MHz Athlon
     32MB RAM

     640x480, some slowdown:
     -----------------------
     Pentium 2/3/450MHz
     32MB RAM, 64MB helps

     640x480, decent speed:
     -----------------------
     Pentium (any) 300MHz
     32MB RAM, 64MB helps

     Playable:
     -----------------------
     Pentium 166MHz
     32MB RAM, needs more?
     320x200 rez
=============================================================================
        {A} Gameplay Improvements

If you find the framerates a little slow to your liking, use the
BooM source port, as it's the fastest of the BooM-compatable ports.
You will be limited to 320x200, but it will play a LOT better!
If you don't want 320x200, you can use PrBooM instead, maybe no
better than 400x300, unless 512x384 isn't that slow.
Try ZDooMGL. OpenGL ususally helps a lot, depending on your video
          card.
=============================================================================
        {B} If Playability REALLY Sucks

Let's face it, you have an Amish PC on your hands. Get a decent
one for DooMing for as little as $500. If you don't have deep
wallets, try the following to really help you out:

          * Use the original BooM port, and adjust your window size down
some, maybe even all the way. If you have played DooM on a low-
end 386 before, you'll be used to this (again).

          * Check to see if you have a good 3D accelerator under the hood,
and grab a copy of ZDooMGL (available from most major DooM
sites). The Voodoo and TNT2 cards tend to yield better results,
but DO NOT USE THE RAGE PRO CHIPSET (Slower, that's why). OpenGL
drivers work with the acceleration hardware in your card to
"take away" some (or a lot) of the hard work the PC needs to do
in drawing the world, thus freeing the CPU, and improving your
            framerate (dramatically).

          * If you're running ZDooMGL with improvement in rates, you may
still need to drop your rez down to as low as 320x200, and if
            supported, reduce the window size.

        {B} ABOUT SAVEGAMES

It's always best to save and save often, however, with larger
maps with very large enemy head counts, a quick save of your game
doesn't always work. To save your game with this level, it is best
to SAVE YOUR GAME TWICE (in the same slot) to insure your progress
is saved. Failure to do so MAY result in a currupt savegame (rare
          here, but it has happened)!!!
=============================================================================
        {C} Distribution of Materials

Materials may be distributed freely among others through any
electronic means, and use or redistribute in any acceptable manner
per id Software Liscense Aggreement, unless granted permission by
id is given otherwise. This product was distributed in 100%
compliance of the aggreement, from the REoL TOUGH Executive
Offices, thus any lawful wrongdoing, if applicable, is of the
responsibility of the last distributor who violated the aggreement.
=============================================================================
        {D} Use of Materials:

Users may feel free to base, modify, or totally gut and rebuild
this map in any way the end user sees fit. The end user must give
proper credit to those who have created the original materials.
Failure to give credit is in violation of U.S. Copyright laws,
which protects original postings of electronic means. Also, you
will look like a total idiot. :)

[3] THE STORY:

Ducking, running, dodging, heart pounding, ammo flying, the Cyber-
demons in their own world were a tough brood to fight. After the last
one you faced, and beat by the smallest of margins, you realized you
could've just hit the switch he was guarding and get the hell out of
his face, but it's too late now! Grabbing what little health you can in
the complex, you fight what's left of his minions, whcih were easy
compared to them. At last, you finished what was the place nicknamed
     "Lord of the Cyberdemons".
At the EXIT, you see a strange teleport, so you step onto it, then
you are teleported to Jupiter's moon, Phobos. "God, not UAC AGAIN!"
Yep. You feared another UAC base has been overrun, and yep, that's
where you are at right now. It seems to be not all that overridden yet,
so you get out and look. It seems quiet outside, so you look some more
and see a few Imps. No big deal to you, huh? You've seen this before, a
few bad men, or monsters, so you know better. As you explore onward, you
will find more trouble. It's just a given for you. Now you just have to
figure out WHAT YOU'VE COME TO.
A hidden message was found in a secret cave nearby your starting
point, so you read it, to find out you're at one of UAC's sprawling
power plants, run off of nucular waste shipped from Earth. How nice, we
have a use for that ooze now. It is also stated that the very vast array
of computer rooms and stations which control a very big UAC city, has
been reconfigured to destroy other UAC bases on Phobos, served by this
plant, and there's a lot, hence the sprawling complex. It seems that the
main objective is to clean house (there's a plot twist for you), so the
computer's need of manual operation will cease, making the massive
radioactive ooze stop flowing into the many UAC bases surrounding the
plant. You may not be able to save them all, but you will hopefully
save many, maybe some, possibly just SOMETHING.

[4] PLAYING THE MAP:

     * Place the 6FIFFY5.WAD file into a directory which you load PWADS
       (usually, in the C:\DOOM2 one).

     * To start the game, enter
       BOOM -FILE 6FIFFY5.WAD

     * To start the game with the PWAD in another directory, like
       C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DOOMCRAP <-- just an example
       BOOM -FILE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DOOMCRAP\6FIFFY5.WAD

[5] TIPS FOR SURVIVAL:

     * When you start your way through the map, you'll note monster plcement
for a REoL TOUGH map is abnormally light (like a lot of levels are).
Don't get to used to it, because it'll come back to the slaughterfest
you know and love (or for some freaks, hate).

     * Take a dive, get a SHOTGUN and MACHINE GUN earlier on. Plus, you'll
be able to grab the SUPER SHOTGUN as well! Go find them!

     * Some items seem to be placed out of reach of you, the player. THIS IS
NOT A BUG! These are methodically placed so you have to approach these
items at a ceartain angle and speed. There's only a couple, one being
       a Medkit. :)

     * Puzzles are not that big, and some require thought. Why small ones?
Play the map, it's so large, it would take forever to complete it, if
it doesn't take that long already.

     * V SYNC is a good thing.
H SYNC is also a great thing.
       N'SYNC sucks.

     * Something relatively useful items are usually placed in out-of-the-way
locations, like hallways off the beaten path, or maybe even some
       nuclear waste sewage aquaduct, perhaps.

     * Plenty of Health and Ammo for everyone! If you think all of that
stuff is given out way too generously, think again. You'll need to
conserve ammo in some places, I'm sure (same for the Health).

     * Heard of the words, SAVE OFTEN? Always a good thing to practice.
(Just remember to do so twice in the same savegame slot!)

     * 7 1/2 out of the 8 hour workday at Ion Storm is where the employees
       do John Romero's hair.

     * Always a good idea to save BEFORE you hit a switch or AFTER you hear
something activate. Failure to do so (in any level) may leave you
permanently stuck. This map could do that to you (like many others
out there can, including the originals).

     * Good old "Wallbanger" principle helps find secrets.

     * Backstreet Boys (See N'SYNC above).

[6] KNOWN BOO-BOO'S:

     * One monster was stuck in the walls. Was found to be useless, so it's
       now gone.

     * Saving your game must be done twice in the same slot, or you risk
       losing your hard-earned progress.

[9] PARTING WORDS:

Thanks for giving SUDDEN DEATH a try. As you may know from the past, or
will find out soon, that a base setting is not my strength, so if this
map is not up to the usual high standards, you know why, because YOU were
sick of the castle theme, so next time, deal with it! :)

Thanks once again, and as always, Have a nice DooMsday!
